How to make a Harry Potter Wand {Tutorial}
So my son is set on having a Harry Potter birthday this year - after Halloween and all the specials had come & gone! I really didn't want to spend a small fortune buying all the party goods online so I was more than stoked when I found this tutorial from Cami @ http://youseriouslymadethat.blogspot.com/ blog hopping one day. So the DIY'er I am, I knew this was what I was looking for. I bought the small wooden dowels at the dollar store and *almost* everything else I had lying around the house (except for the shimmer modge podge) which I bought on sale at Michael's. I love how they turned out! Just as good as the one that came with his HP costume!

Absolutely awesome! My daughter was Harry Potter last Halloween, and I couldn't bring myself to buying one of the plastic wands sold at the costume store. Your wand is absolutely perfect, and I look forward to making one for my daughter!
Visiting by way of the linky at “I {heart} Nap Time”.

@Jenn Erickson Thank you! I'm always looking for neat DIY projects...I'm in the process of putting together a HP party so I will be posting more "finds" and of course the party!
WOW! That is impressive and I bet your son absolutely loves it!
